Day Z Mod To Become A Standalone Game & A Messed Up Day Z Video

Day Z Mod To Become A Standalone Game & A Messed Up Day Z Video

It looks like the popular Arma II zombie mod DayZ will be available as a standalone game. According to the mod creator Dean Hall he said  “I want to see it become a standalone game, following the Minecraft model of a low price point, but that will only work if we say that everyone is going to pay.”

There are over a million players playing the Day Z mod and with those types of numbers some developer in not the Arma developer, Bohemia Interactive, will have this thing available for gamers. Hall is hoping that before Christmas gamers will be able to play a newer version of Day Z and I will be one of those players.

Speaking of players, the game is very lifelike. If you die ion the game you die and have to create a whole new character and because of that there are people who join groups, raid camps, and do things for pure entertainment. Take this video for example. The video has two players being recruited for their squad. They are promised weapons, safety, anything the group has, but when they get to the camp things change.

You have to check out the video just to see how messed up people are when they take a game a little to seriously. See the Day Z video after the jump.
