Cuyle Carvin's Directorial Debut Horror Short AMUSED
Cuyle Carvin informed us about his new horror short Amused. Cuyle wrote, directed, and produced the short film that he is now entering into festivals. Amused deals with a woman named Martha, who lives in the country with her daughter. She arrives home one day to find a man eating her daughter's scalp, the man then turns his focus on Martha, who has no choice but to run off into the woods in the dead of winter.
The trailer looks pretty good and I will have to check this out once it is available, but for now you can see the trailer to Cuyle Carvin's Amused below.
Website: Amused
Synopsis: After a routine morning filled with errands, Martha returns to her quiet and tranquil country home only to find horror feasting upon her daughter’s scalp. A terrifying chase ensues through the frozen countryside. Alone and desperate, Martha’s left to face the vast isolation as terror lurks and awaits for its chance to pounce.
AMUSED explores a silent fear of rural living. The peace and quiet that the country life offers might not be worth much when no one can hear you scream.
