GRABBERS Official Trailer - Let's Drink To Stay Alive

By: Kyle Reese

GRABBERS Official Trailer - Let's Drink To Stay Alive

Here is the official trailer for the Irish horror comedy GRABBERS. In the trailer what we see is a lot of drinking, squid like creatures and a good amount of humor. Why are they drinking so much you ask, well it is because the creatures hate alcohol and the only way to stay alive is to get wasted, now I can get down with that. Only thing is can they defeat the creatures if they are all drunk?

The film is directed by and stars Jon Wright and stars Richard Coyle, Ruth Bradley, Russell Tovey, Lalor Roddy, David Pearse, Bronagh Gallagher, Pascal Scott, Micheál Ó Gruagáin, Clelia Murphy, Jonathan Ryan, Barbara Adair, Stuart Graham, Roz McCutcheon, Louis Dempsey, Killian Coyle, Ned Dennehy.

The film is set for a VOD release here in the states and will be release August 10th in Irish cinemas. Check out the trailer for GRABBERS after the jump.

Synopsis: In Irish cinemas August 10th. GRABBERS tells the story of Ciarán O’Shea, a charming but heavy-drinking local Garda who is tasked with greeting Lisa Nolan, a straight-laced young officer who has just arrived to a small fishing village off the West coast of Ireland. Not that there’s much for them to do, aside from dealing with the occasional drunk, and that’s usually O’Shea himself. But strange doings are afoot: the crew of a fishing boat disappears, whales start appearing dead on the shore, a local lobsterman catches a strange tentacled creature in his trap. Soon it becomes clear to Garda O’Shea and Nolan that there’s something big out there, and that it’s hungry. It’s time to rally the villagers, arm the troops…and head to the pub!

Looks like an enjoyable horror/sci-fi/comedy with booze a plenty I can see people coming up with a shitload of drinking games for this movie
